The “Aegean Blue” – A new aframax to Arcadia Shipmanagement Co. Ltd

ARCADIA took delivery of a newbuilding aframax tanker of 115.000 dwt, the “Aegean Blue” at Samsung Heavy Industries on Geoje Island of South Korea.

The name was given by Mrs. Eleni Skaraki. The naming ceremony and the commemorative receptions were honored by the presence of the President of Samsung, Mr. J. W. Kim, Executives from the Shipyard, representatives of The Royal Bank of Scotland, the Det Norske Veritas and other members of the shipping community.

As per company policy the vessel will fly the Greek flag.re as well as the young age and overall performance of its fleet.
