All courses have been designed, developed and are being conducted for ARCADIA SHIPMANAGEMENT CO LTD sea and shore personnel, in order to meet individual Industry and Company  needs, with the use of Ship Simulation Systems (where applicable), being in compliance with the latest national and International rules and regulations (International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watch-keeping for Seafarers - STCW 1978 as amended at Manila 2010, Reg. II/1–3, Annex I – Table A-II/1–3, Table A-III/1–3 and the ISM code), guidelines (IMO Model Courses) and DNV-GL Standard ST-0029 for Certification of Maritime Training Centres and No 3.201 for Certification of Learning Programmes. The Company’s commitment and dedication to safety at sea, would be impossible to be achieved without the contribution of its highly trained crew and experienced and supportive staff ashore.

The aim is to provide the trainees with the skills and knowledge required to function effectively and efficiently on board the vessels and in the shipping Office. Since the shipping industry is characterized by heavy competition, one of the competitive advantages for every shipping Company, is the quality of its personnel. ARCADIA MTC continually improves it’s standards, to meet the constantly changing needs of the shipping market and to reassure that graduates of the various courses, will have the appropriate competencies to perform and execute required tasks in the jobs that they have been trained. Through continuous monitoring and assessment of the MTC’s Training activity, Management focuses on the improvement of teaching, curriculum, equipment and facilities, in relation to fleet changes, new regulations, market demands, etc.
