MT Aegean Unity - Diaplous New Panama Canal

 The ACP (Panama Canal Authority) public relation office, promoting the achieved Milestones for the New Panama Canal, i.e. the first tranzits of specific type/dimentions’ vessels, has announced that the newbuilt ARCADIA SUEZMAX M/T “AEGEAN UNITY” was the 1st "Oil Tanker" ever transiting the neopanamax locks, on the 18th of August 2016, during her 2nd maiden voyage from California to the Bahamas. The ACP Director delivered a recognition plaque to the M/T “AEGEAN UNITY” Master Captain Konstantinos NIARCHOS, at the Agua Clara Locks.
